Be passionate. Organized and structured, but passionate. This generally means going all out, but try to contain yourself and avoid coming across with an attitude that implies there's no way your business can fail. Instead, develop your proposal in a way that shows it's well thought out.

Default my take on the subject

I think you should be honest about what it is your doing and how you intend on doing it. If your only going to make a 5% profit each year don't try to hide that. 5% steady profit is pretty good in my book.

Other than honesty, do the salesman bid. people love a show so give them an honest one.

I don't have a salesman personality , so I would do my best to make a solid and professional proposal. Honesty is the best policy. Hype never impresses me, so I would not include any.

Your right. Honesty is the best policy. If not then you will end up like some of those bear sterns people.....in jail for committing fraud.
